PREGAME FIGHT! We Got Dante Fowler Slapping The Shit Out Of Austin Ekeler And Sending His Helmet Flying To Get Us Ready For MNF
Welcome back from injury Austin Ekeler! Nothing like coming in trying to play peacemaker only to catch a hook to the dome that sends your helmet flying. I mean how does that happen? Remind me to never try to fight Dante Fowler because if he's throwing slaps like that I don't want to catch a slap without a helmet on. You gotta feel protected in a scrap with the helmet on, it's why I never understood why football players throw punches, but if you can slap the helmet off you're ahead of the game. It's like ripping the sweater off in hockey, something I learned from D2.
I don't know what's going on this week but this is our second pregame scuffle:
Like Clem said there, the Chargers/Cowboys aren't a rivalry. They hardly play each other. It's not a regular thing. Dante Fowler spent time with the Rams. Maybe he was jealous of having to share a stadium? That's the only thing I can think of. All I know is trying to break up a fight never goes according to plan. That's the real lesson here for Austin Ekeler. You either come in ready to fight (usually in something like this, it's just push and scream) or you standby and watch. You're the star running back who is already worried about contracts, can't be risking more injury because of a brouhaha.
Typical Cowboys, gotta say that. I mean I guess if I was embarrassed by the 49ers a week ago I'd want to hit someone too. They know they aren't going to win shit, so might as well win the fight.
